Film of the Week
Jackass Forever (2022). I hope you will join me in boycotting the Academy Awards this year after their snobbish snubbing of an untraditional classic. After a long week I had a choice between seeing Belfast or Jackass Forever. I went with the less challenging film and got exactly what I wanted. It was a relief to see such complete nincompoopery in the age of deep and dense media. A man gets hit in the groin. Thats all there needs to be to it. Homer Simpson was right.

Fact of the Week
Eng and Chang were born conjoined twins in Thailand (then Siam)1811. Whisked away by entrepreneurial Americans they toured the states as indentured slaves until they were 21 and free to make their own buck. They adopted the surname Bunker and made a fortune, touring as ‘The Siamese Twins’, a term that survived.
They married sisters and fathered 18 children between them, taking turns as to who’s house they would live in. There, that person would be ‘in charge’ and the other would have to be quiet and compliant. There is an annual Bunker reunion annually now with over 1,500 descendants attending.
